Half the book was cheesy family movie, the other was weird. The gay guy who's been pining after his best friend for years is freaked out about making out and the straight best friend is forward. It was tough reading Jax Stone, pro football player and star quarterback, has known how he felt about Butch Henderson since they were 12. But Butch is straight.
