I had the feeling I was reading a novel written by a person who is new to writing and doesn't know how to tell a story. I didn't feel enything at all while reading because everything just happened too sudden. Insta love that made no sense whatsoever, and it could have if it'd been better written.I think the main problem was the pace. The writing was kind of rushed, Alex fell in love too quickly and was too obsessed with Noah. The same can be said for Noah, I mean, he barely interacted with Alex and he already could see through "Alex's facade" like, c'mon. I believe the problem is that everything happened too quickly and this type of plot needed more details, more interactions between the two main characters and a slower pace to show the reader how they came to fall for each other. But the writing fell flat and the story we are told turns out boring, their feelings doesn't make sense and it's impossible to relate or understand them.The side characters seemed to exist solely for plot reasons and not as a part of their universe. I didnt't even finish the book and I got so bored I had to skim through to see if it got any better. SPOILER, it doesn't get better. It's worse. The second part turned so ridiculous I felt actual cringe while skimming through I loved this story. At first, when I read the description of this book, I didn’t know if I was going to like it as much as I liked the author’s first book “Project Hero”, mostly because second chance stories are packed with sad and heartbreaking moments, and I don’t like crying. However, even when I cried at some point and then was supper angry in another, I still enjoyed the story very much, and the message that it has at the end it’s beautiful. I liked it so much that wish the story was longer.
